What brought you to our server?: My friend saying it was a wonderful server.

Short Character Back-Story (A paragraph or two): I was shipped from city 24, and I am 27 years of age. I had one brother and one sister. I was a miner in a mining accident which consisted of a explosion inside of the coal mine I was assigned to. All my friends and my brother died in the explosion, but I survived somehow leaving me with nothing but my parents and sister; which were soon to be lost as well.
My father had joined the combine, but soon after his leaving my sister was killed by the very same people. Knowing this my mother joined the rebels with her knowledge as a doctor she became a medic, she was found by my father who urged her to run that the combine were coming. My father was shot down as a result of his treason and my mother hunted down so his final wish would not come true.

Why do you want to join the MPF (Just a paragraph or two)?:By enforcing the Universal Unions laws I believe to stop the protesting that is getting us no where and that is causing us to fight what could be beneficial for us, fighting what is good is what made us fail to see how it could benefit us as a whole. In conceiving the offer of great knowledge and protection we have thrown it away to keep what will not help us, what will not keep us alive and well.
I believe by joining the Metro Police Force I could help stop these rebellions of protest to what is good for us as a whole, and stop further deaths from the continued fighting over nothing. By doing this I believe I could make City 23 a clear bright future. I wish to follow in my fathers footsteps, before he made his fatal mistake.

Alex Roas was born on June, 2, 1994. She was raised by her parents before the 7 Hour War. She was in love with firearms when she turned 9, Her mother died, but didn't really care about it. So she wanted to use a gun not caring about her mother. Her lovely dad got her one. So she got trained by her father then so she got to go and shoot a gun. She enjoyed it so she got a job, Before the 7 Hour War. As life was smooth she became a street cleaner. After cleaning she got a job. for her self and started making money. When she got enough money she bought her own gun for her self to train. When she turned 17, She was prepared to be left before her next birthday. When she turned 18, She left her parents and stayed with some friends. When she was 21 before her next birthday the 7 Hour War Began. She was scared and she was tooken civilian and went to City 23. She had to start her life there, As she knows how to use firearms she knows she can join the CCA. As she was applying she was a citizen who obeyed the CCA. Following the CCA orders. Possibly not breaking any laws. Alex was so respectful she could know she would join for being a very good citizen.

What brought you to our server?:
I was looking for a server where people actually tried to roleplay. There were too many other servers with "[Supermanzlol] kicks you in the face and flies through the air while eating your heart.

Lengthy Character Back-Story (Two or three paragraphs):
Andrew Roberts was an identical twin. His brother, Derrick, was always better with anything mathematical, or scientific. Derrick was a better student in general. Their parents were always giving praise to Derrick, but Andrew didn't do much at all. He was an average student, generally got C's or B's. When they got into high school, Andrew saw a program about weightlifting. He joined the program, and sure enough, he was an amazing bodybuilder. Andrew and Derrick's parents became very proud of Andrew, and Andrew soon began to get all of the cute girl's phone numbers. This made Derrick depressed for a while, and while he swam in his little pool of self-pity, he got an idea. One day, Andrew came home from high school, and found Derrick lying on the ground, with a bloodied knife in his hand. He stopped for a moment. Realizing what had happened, he called the police, but was not worried. He was never close to Derrick, and was not sad to see him gone. Soon after that, Andrew's mother fell into a deep depression, and murdered his father then jumped out the window of their apartment, falling 16 floors. Andrew was left alone, with very little money, and he graduated from high school with no help. Doctors said that he was "Amazingly numbed to mental pain and scarring." About a year later, at the age of 21, the Combine invaded, and Andrew survived it all.

What brought you to our server?: I was looking for a good hl2 rp server that didn't have minge civil protection.

Lengthy Character Back-Story (Two or three paragraphs): Life had always been hard for Dirk Shiller, and the "Seven Hour War" wouldn't make it any easier. Dirk grew up being the oldest of three children, both were younger than 18 when the war was over, and his siblings were killed as they were under 18. Dirk did not know what to do with him self and was moved to city 45.

Before he was moved and the Seven Hour War took place Dirk Shiller traveled alot but not with his family. He preferred to travel with a small squad of 5 or 6 people. They toured Russia, Poland, Romania and other countries around that area. Dirk soon got tired of moving and settled down in Poland where he found a job in a factory. Dirk started from the bottom up, as a box lifter, to working the fork lift.

After two years of working in the factory Dirk was offered a job as being in charge of shipping goods. Dirk jumped to this offer and took it with both hands and made it his own. His team loved how he worked. He was a good leader and always took advice from every one to make his job better and easier for every one else. Then Dirk was fired due to a loss in profit and job cuts had to be made.

Dirk spent the next few months trying to find a new job. He only found a part time night job in a bar. He took the job and tried his hardest. The bar owner was ex-police and taught Dirk how to use a basic pistol and a shotgun. Dirk wasn't great with the shotgun and was okay with the pistol. He never used these weapons apart from in training sessions with the bar owner. After the Seven Hour War Dirk became a wreck and was becoming a bum.

After a few weeks of being a room mate in the apartments Dirk chose to do something with his life. He chose to be a good citizen and not let the cruel past let him deteriorate into a low life or a rebel. He chose to stick to the rules enforced by the Civil Protection, whether he agreed with them or not, he kept a high head and obeyed. He then knew it was time to try and join the Civil Protection.

Past Hl2rp experience?: I have been an unit of the MPF/CCA at Galaxy Gaming and Purified Gaming.

What brought you to our server?: Purified Gaming (the most recent one) was shut down; and so I looked for another small, not-always-full server. I came onto this one and did a quick join and found it was amazing.

Lengthy Character Back-Story (Two or three paragraphs):
Justin Corrinalli was always..alone..He lived by that fact from the year 1981 in the slums to the Combine's rule of 2016 in Europe. His life was event-less. Nothing was really special about him, except that he was adopted. He wasn't bullied in his time of high school, but he wasn't all sociable either. He was just left alone. He had no direction in life, no goal, no dream. Later, after deep re-consideration, he had moved out of his parent's house two years after he graduated from high shcool; and he lived in Orlando, Florida.

Justin was on a family trip in Pennsylvania when the 7 Hour War started, he survived in his grandparent's isolated home in a snowy forest; taking cover in the basement. His grandparents were terrified, and he assumed that his parents were dead since they were still on their way up to the house when the war started. Once the Combine established rule and dispersed their towering aqua-blue skyscrapers to many areas of the globe, Justin and his grandparents were found. They were all registered at a town called Allentown. Unfortunately, due to Justin's grandparents being old, brittle, and weak; they had to "re-locate" and were boarded onto one of the Combine's trams.

Justin Corrinalli only lived in Allentown---or City 11 by now, for 6 months until he was truly re-located to Japan. This from a severe avalanche disaster. Justin slightly became depressed while in City 8. He thought to himself,"I lost hope before the war, and I lost everything after the war." He obeyed the Combine, as he was afraid of them. He had very minor crimes in the start, mostly just trying to question why the Combine on why they would do "this", or "that". A beating and a week in detainment made him shut up. Justin was unexpectedly re-located again from City 8 to City 45 in Europe, due to a serious exogen breach.

At this point, he looked to the bright side of the Metropolice Force and the Combine's rule on the globe. He had a philosophy which was if the citizens were cooperative and loyal to the Combine, and gain their trust, then we would slowly get a bit more freedom. Of course, that wasn't true; but Justin Corrinalli still wanted some reason on why to have hope. This caused him to try to help the MPF; trying to report criminals and hooligans running around the apartments and possessing contraband. He realized, he was becoming a target for the criminals. He was already threatened twice, beaten up, insulted, and attempted to be tricked by a murderer.
The Metropolice Force, was not only the way to establish order and achieve Justin's misguided philosophy, but was also his way to safety. This, was Justin's goal, dream, and the one direction he wanted to go in: The lawful, justifiable, Metropolice Force...(in his own mind).

What brought you to our server?: I was recently a Super-Admin on the Silver Legion Gaming server and the owner gave the server away to an admin who abuses his powers on a god-like level and is an overall ass to virtually everybody. I had spent countless night on Admin Duty, coding, map making and overall work for the server just to be shafted in the end. I wanted to find a new server that is worth my time an effort and I really enjoy the current staff and community of this server and plan on spending 95% of my Gmod time here.

Lengthy Character Back-Story: Born in what was Munich before the Combine arrived, Josef had always been considered an"odd"child. His mother a nurse at the local hospital and his father an esteemed professor at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, he had nothing but the best education money could buy. Never a popular child no, he spent much if not all of his time either at the library of the university or in the garage performing his experiments, often considered "cruel and unusual". He was often scolded and punished for kidnapping stray neighborhood pets and attempting to replace limbs with mechanical prosthesis. During his high school years he was captain of the Chemistry, Science, and Calculus clubs. Graduating top of his class Josef then enrolled into Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry and Max Planck Institute of Neurobiology, he had managed to arrange a schedule in which he could attend all of his classes unhindered.

Josef was now in in mid 20's and just recently earned his doctorates and Re-enrolled into both University s. Half way through the school year he was expelled for performing "unethical experiments" not only on himself but with volunteers he had met in his classes. Shortly afterwards Josef's father and mother both died in a car accident.In a fit of despair he dug both of his deceased parents up and kept them in the garage where he experimented on animals. He tried bringing them back with different neurological stimuli and mechanical prosthesis. On one faithful his father arose, rotting flesh and maggot filled caucus
and walked to Josef. Thrilled he quickly arranged a conference with former collages of the University. He presented his grotesque success to only be imprisoned in the Munich Asylum.

Three years later the Combine invaded, power surges were a constant and the Asylum was soon taken over by it's inhabitants. Instead of taking part of the riot he fled into the sewers collecting scraps of equipment whenever possible. A few months passed and he was captured by the CP, forced into City 45. He know hopes to join the Combine, their limitless technology and his brilliant mind
he aspires to help them ensure supreme dominance in the human race.

Lengthy Character Back-Story (Two or three paragraphs): Cameron Bennett, A boy who grew up In Washington State. Born in October 14 1980 With 3 Siblings. Cameron's Mother had Passed away Before The 7 Hour War. His Dad and Him had owned a Farm not far for Kirkland, Washington. The Portal Storms had effected the Crops at the Farm's And were to Dangerous to be Around. Cameron and his Dad had Evacuated from the City and have Arrived at another down North of Kirkland. The City they were Living in was Near City-18. While Cameron and his dad have been living in the City for a Few Weeks.

October 14 1999.

Cameron and His dad had been Celebrating Cameron's 19th Birthday with some cake and a Remembrance to Cameron's Mother. Cameron had met a Nice Girl Named Emma. They had both Worked at the City Store for awhile and began to Bond. Cameron had become Quite Attracted to Emma's Personality. Cameron and Emma had a relationship for awhile Now. One day Cameron had Proposed to Emma, And she Said "YES!". After a few Weeks of having a Happy Relation-ship, Emma Had became Pregnant.

The Seven Hour War. 2010

During a Unknown time a War had Erupted. Cameron had a 6 Year old Boy named Charles. Emma had Died from Cardiac Arrest during the Birth Giving. Cameron had One day looked out the Window and had seen a Beam Come down from the Sky and Cause a Major Explosion. Cameron and Charles had Stayed in a Underground base the Government had Setup. After a Breach had happened in the Bunker, Charles was Taken away From Cameron by the Combine. Cameron had tried Desperately to get Charles Back, But Charles had been taken to City-18 and had been chosen to Stay Alive and Live with another Family. As Cameron was Transported to another City, Cameron had Chosen to live In complete Silence. After Losing His Mother, Father, Son, And Girlfriend. As Cameron made a Living in his City.

Post War 2014.

Cameron had made some Friend in His city. Everyone was Forced to wear Blue Jump Suites with there Citizen Id's. Cameron's was "40887". He had been pushed around by Combines in his City for a While. Cameron Chose not to mind it and Just deal with it. One day Cameron had told one of his Friends about This child, Charles, and a Man had Said, "Oh Man, You think that's SOOO BAD? Try losing a Dog. I bet my Dog was worth more than your Child." Cameron had Attacked the Man and Almost Beat him to death Before Combine had Rushed Over. Cameron was Taken to a Interrogation room and had been asked, "Why did you Attack that Man?" Cameron Refused to Speak, And was forced to sit in a Prison cell for a Day.

Current Time 2016.

Cameron had been Transferred to City-45 and was Reunited with his Child Charles. His boy was 12 Years Old and All Grown up with a "Girlfriend". Once Cameron had finally Reunited with his Child, Charles and Cameron had both became Loyalist to the Combine. Learning there Ways and Learning to Survive. Now Cameron is trying to Join the MPF and Serve them in anyway Possible.

What brought you to our server?:My Friend Smith On Steam, And very great MPF and Map.



Lengthy Character Back-Story (Two or three paragraphs): Jake Piston was seperated, he even had a brother named Smith, He was also seperated from me. The father died a few weeks ago, He was extremely sick.. Due to the great poisioning and sickness the father had, He died. Now he rests in that bed way up in the sky, The mother cried for almost 2 weeks, during her seperation made her depressed aswell. Jake and Smith were also depressed too. After a month we got over it. But we still have him in the hearts of ours. as more months passed,  the seperation still stands. Jake and smith have the same last names. Our last name is Piston. I don't know how me and my brother got the name, but it surely did fit.

He started becomeing a young adult, there was terrible struggle. First of all, employment rate.. there was like hardly any jobs. Maybe no jobs at all, so I could hardly any money you could earn. There was a job at the market.. but it didn't even pay aswell, the income was only really 20 or 10 tokens weekly. Seriously? Jake had a struggle with these. He had the feeling of makeing everyone have a job to make their own money, Jake only wish for those struggles to go away. Increase employment rate! even more income! everyone needs money, so that is why more income was needed. but it hardly ever came as true. The struggle got bigger, the employment went lower and lower. The income was 5 tokens... 5 TOKENS! Jake had that struggle very much. The bigger it got, the harder his life as a young adult would change. apparently, With all of the low income. Jake's apartment got abandonded and destroyed. Now he is on the streets alone, hungry, depressed, the harder Jake's life has went.


Even, his struggle as a child was worst. He had no home,food,water,bathroom. Nothing! he was only 6 when he was this. Smith was  5 when this happended to him. But, he was also abused. he got kicked,slapped,hated.. it was horrible! the only place he had was living under a box with dirty clothing, even depression has gotten to him. He sleeps on the poor streets of his town Nothing was ever good to him due to abusive parents,hated,abused.. the struggle even went with on a young adult.. ;ow income and bad employment rates... So, a dream never came true. That's how Jake's life was extremely tough. Only kid in my streets to be abused.. Nothing, at all was true for him..

now, As his adult life. The big stuff came. moving,food,water,home, etc. He was still in his town but there was something horrifying.. he got news that Him and Smith were seperated, we hardly saw each other ever again..  he was sent to City 45, one of the most combine-controlled citys ever seen. The metro-police force here were mostly strict. But, he had to live with it. Now, my new life is now a adult Now. There is more things Jake must do in his new city, the food, a home, and a better life. He hardly had any way to find food... but there was these daily purple baggy thingys that gave him food and a drink. And there is money in here that you can buy with.. maybe food! and a apartment! he went to the apartments building and got himself his own little house, but there was emptyness. Only thing they had inside was a Stove,Bathroom,Refridgerator.. no bed or nothing, and the floor is nasty.. he had to deal with it, Now here he is in his own apartment. Sleeping on the nasty,dusty floors it has.
City 45 is now my primary city to live and die in, even live in. And even live under the combine force that is controlling the city and It's citizens.

Lengthy Character Back-Story (Two or three paragraphs):
     Anita Ford was a simple citizen. She obeyed the Universal Union, took the occasional beating, and lived her life normally in City 17. That all changed when she was relocated to City 45. She lost her all her friends during that move, and she was a nervous wreck for the first couple of days. She did, however, begin to make new friends, and share her thoughts and ideas with them.

    Her first friend was a man named Johnothan GreenHeart, he was a nice man, if a bit on the crazy side. She has recently met a new person by the name of Jacob Greene, he's... different, so to say. Jacob continually invited Anita into his apartment but every time she said, "No." Eventually, Anita found out why she felt so nervous around him. He was a member of the Resistance! She immediately reported him to the Universal Union and he came out of his apartment kicking and screaming. He put up a fight, though. Too bad he was amputated.

    The last few days have been hard on Anita, what with the move and all. She has been getting used to City 45 though, if a bit slow. Sometimes she daydreams about life before the war, but she comes back to reality knowing fully that this is mankind's destiny. She isn't sad about the war, in fact she is happy. She is glad that life is so simple now, no more wars, no more dieing pointlessly, all in all, she's happy.

When Breen surrendered us to the Universal Union, I felt happy. No more dieing pointlessly in the war. It left me with a good feeling deep in my heart.

    Needless to say, I have allied myself with the Universal Union. I feel like I must protect the citizens of City 45 with my life from Rebels and other... Horrible... Things. I give you my life for the betterment of society.

Lengthy Character Back-Story: (Old application I used for Revotech) 

"I was born American and will forever be American." Scott Winchester never got to know his real mother, but Pa was adequate according to him. He raised him the way an average father would: Monthly hunting. From the age of 14, when he recieved his first hunting rifle, his whole life has been an attempt to impress him.

They lived in New York, and made a living off the salary of a policeman in the NYPD. Scott wasn't even sure if his father acknowledged his presence; he sure enjoyed work more than having a son, but that's just an assumption. He was able to hold on to an average of a 2.5GPA in high school in order to maintain varsity in his high school's football team. His father alleged that college wasn't necessary to join the military. As if he were hinting for his own son to enlist. Well, he didn't. He didn't go to college either. 

In 1974, Scott joined the NYPD... For a day. His own father found a way to kick him out in "higher hopes". He was furious, in genuine belief that he could be independent in this world. So he left his hospitality, found himself a job in Petroleum refining, and found the love of his life. By 1994, the communication between his father was scarce, yet stable. He met Scott's second fiancée during the year of his death, exhibiting the ability to make it obvious that he was apathetic toward the decisions in his son's life. Scott lived entirely, not once contributing to make his life more efficient. "You don't know how much it effects me just thinking about that." He died in 2006. Deep down, he knew he didn't love the man, but he was his father.

2010 was the pinnacle of Scott's life. He didn't know what happened to her, but something kept telling him that they were better off.

Scott gave full submission toward the Universal Union, just as he did with his father. 

Scott is basically the average American who never took advantage of the opportunities that were literally placed RIGHT in front of him. He seeks a chance to redeem himself and, in vein, impress his father.

Many times have I witnessed the disrespect to Civil Protection Units from the ungrateful citizens in this city; I wish to join the Metropolice to enforce discipline toward the uncivilized to ensure they know their place. I follow all mandatory rules with no hesitation or questioning, and wish to provide more of a benefit to this society, other than seeking personal gain. I have always prefered efficiency over amount, have sufficient knowledge in facilitating/organizing workspace, and perhaps irrelevant, I am a decent marksman.

(By the way, some factors that I should include for you to ponder about Scott: He's 60 years old, yes odd age. In the previous server I used this character for there was an arguement whether or not he'd be capable of managing as an MPF unit, but from my personal experience I've seen my 70 year old grandfather lift cinderblocks on a daily basis. Perhaps it's just me. But other than that this application was accepted on Revotech, but the character was Perma Killed solely for RP purposes. Lengthy Character Back-Story (Two or three paragraphs):
Childhood:
Smith Piston was born on a farm located close to St. Olga with 2 siblings and a mother. Smith didn't have much of a childhood being on a farm with out other kids besides his 2 other siblings to play with. Smith didn't get out of the house until he was 16 years of age. Smith's family was poor, but living off the land helped because they could hunt game and get water from a well. Smith lived with his mother, 2 younger siblings and his uncle. His uncle was like Smith's father. His uncle taught him how to write, work on the old pick-up's engine, and he also tought him how to hunt and skin game. His father was an unknown man, but from his mother's words his father was a old drunk. When Smith wasn't helping at the farm he went into St. Olga and walked around town. He mostly went into the monastery church or out on the coast on the beaches. Smith learned most of his Skills from hunting, farm work, and in the town.

7HW:

When the 7 Hour War came Smith was working at the docks. The dock bell rang when the current came onto the beach hitting the bell. Smith noticed it was starting to get dark so he decided to head into the town. Clouds rumbled and it got darker. It was then when the Portal Storm opened across the face of the earth. People screamed and ran as the skies rumbled so loud and hard that the ground shaked every now and then. Most people went inside buildings. The first thing Smith did was think, but he had no time so he began to run coming up with plans that would never work. The Xen creatures began to enter the earth. The Xen creatures forced citizens in the the cities for protection. The Portal was bright blue and more Xen creatures came out. Smith waited, after 7 hours the whole world became silent.Smith had thought they had won the battle, but they hadn't. The citizens came out and a intercom came from one of the Xens. The United Nations had surrendered and announced that Dr. Wallace Breen was the world ruler. The Intercom said "You are saved."-Dr.Breen. After the 7 hour War Smith was moved from St. Ogla and into a Union city.

Post-UU:

  Smith tried to keep a normal life style, but every thing was different. Everyone was watched, every move was watched. Smith could not run. He could not yell when he was angry. He couldn't proceed with his daily work. There was no work, everyone was appointed a roomate at an apartment. After a couple of days Smith started to like the concept of the whole city control. He thought it was a good strategy plan to keep the citizens under control. Smith noticed that the Combine were recruiting those to sell items for the citizens for their own use, though some idoitic citizens attempted to make-shift weapons out of the items, he bought them for the use that there supposed to do. Smith talked to alot of the CWU's and the other loyalists. Smith was a good supporter for others. Smith wasn't exactly a honest person. He lied to those doing bad against the union, And those that did bad got jailed. Smith was a funny person, even some of the Combine agree. Smith wasn't respected much by other citizens but was by the loyalist and the CWU.

Motive:

    Smith wanted to join the Union, because he thought of himself being a pure loyalist to the Combine. He also thought he was mentally and physically fit for the job. He thought if he was given the right tools he could be the helper rather then the helpless. He wanted to do more to the Combine force and by joining the forces he could.

My mother died at birth and my father was killed by those rebel scum bags. After that day I knew I would have to stand above the crowd and be heard. After 27 years of agonizing captivity I decided to join the MPF.

Lengthy Character Back-Story (Two or three paragraphs): Jake was a six-year old kid in his days in a village called Wolstenholm, Wolstenholm was a rusty'ol village with no kind given to it, and the parents were killed in Vietnam. So Jake had to grow alone, He knew how to cook and school. He had high-school once and he just had his award. He had to go to a private school where all of the kids hated him. Even at lunch, they threw food at him and didn't let him sit at any tables, He had to sit on the floor where it was filled with ants, and it was terribly disgusting. But Jake was filled with joy because he left at the age of 14. Then he lived alone, because his parents are dead as well. He started growing alone and he was like a brother one another, he started living the life and you know as usual he just lived it, what else would Jake have? Instead of himself.





As his life continued, Something big happened that one day when a blue portal was high with-in the city, It started growing almost making the whole sky blue and dark, then sounds were heard in the portal, Like some robotic machinery. Then........ BAM! Machines rushed out of the portal, like horses running on a field fast like a Chinese monk. Jake ran, while running the machines landed onto the village destroying the village, and then rockets were fired. The machines were firing them - setting the village on fire, it crumbled down

And was destroyed, People were also killed during the demonic destruction of the village. Jake went way ahead out into the forest, when he was knocked out and brought into a camp. He woke up later in a room, And he were questioned because these people didn't trust anyone... Not anymore...





After the combine took over the cities... Jake moved in a city called City 45, It was under combine control. He didn't have much luck in this city but he had to do it. He had to move in a city sooner or later, he was given a jumpsuit and had his Citizen ID on his back, The CID Is used for rations, entraces to some sectors, etc. Also, It's used for combine to recognize most citizens, Like most-wanted. They could be used for a couple other users, he was on the train, and getting off walking out to the square, Also ran off to the apartments and rented one. Apartment B #23. He opened the doors with their keys, opened the door and was... Horrible. It was dusty, nasty, and not clean. But, I guess he had to live with it. He didn't like it, but had to live with it. He went out to the square, Going to sit on the bench and talked about the rest of of his life. It was going to be bad but they had no other choice. Now he rests his life in the city called City 45 and stay there...





(Last thing here is the motive to join) I want to join the MPF to enforce the laws of City 45, and control it with the rest of the union. The MPF is a serious job to take and cannot be taken lightly. It has to be taken seriously. If you want to take this as something lightly then you picked the wrong job. This is a job to be taken serious again, not lightly. Not every becomes a soldier of the union, only the ones that the union thinks highly of, Not

Lights and low, Serious and highly. One more time, this job has to be taken seriously and high. Not lightly and low.
