Loyalist status is no longer required, Instead, Applications will be open only over the weekends (opening Friday night) at which time you can apply. If your application is denied, you must wait till next weekend to re-apply.
To join the MPF, you are going to need to be active on the server, This is a commitment and you cant just come on once a month and expect to not get removed from the force. If you think you can handle being a huge part of the daily RP, fill out this application fully and we will get back to you ASAP.

What brought you to our server?: Found it while surfing for another server to pay, found you and saw that you were a newer server, though you'd need help.
On my own accord, a backstory: The twilight sky shone upon Creston, and Brian laid outside-- resting his back against a small wooden shack on the outskirts of town. His dog lay to the side, with his head rested on Brian's knee, only one with true companionship would know a relationship such as this. Brian’s eyelids slowly closed shut and his mind rested, setting the young boy to sleep.
Brian awoke later that morning, his head resting against the grassy terrain beside him. He pushed downwards onto the ground and quickly sprung himself up, with his dog nowhere to be seen. All day he ran and ran, looked and looked, hoping for the slightest “woof” to give him a thought of where his dog was. He heard nothing. The sun dimmed as the horizon wrapped its dark and mountainous claws around it, and Brian sat—kneeling in a field. Tears slid down his face, his hair was wet and gruff, and his mouth was curled downwards in dismay. Sorrow and loneliness was his only companion now, how ironic.
Days passed, Brian remained saddened and depressed. Almost nothing could’ve cheered him up, his parents would speak to him, and nothing would come out. He would just sit and stare like an emotionless mime, nothing to give. After a week or so, news reached the home about the fate of his dog. Brian was called to the living room and his parents sat together, frowning as he entered. They now knew why Brian was at such shock, and now they had to tell him what had happened. Brian slid his palm slowly across the couch arm, watching as his mother stood to huddle him onto the seat. He threw himself to the couch, landing on his side, his head sat crooked and his eyes were barely noticeably directed towards his mother and father. Later that evening, all he could do was cry. Nothing escaped his mouth but aggravated and hurt cries of pain and sadness.
Throughout the years, Brians’ grades had greatly diminished. He was in the deep, failing classes sitting with nothing to think about whatsoever. He had no relationship with other children and was seen as an outcast, even friends beforehand had abandoned him. Though, in his sophomore year, he’d soon discovered his great ability to transfer his thoughts into art, and found himself performing complex mathematical equations at home. He’d contacted a psychiatrist about his problems, knowing that they’d affect his newly discovered skills. After a year or so of counselling, Brian had gone from a failing student to an A/B graded student, now with somewhat of a significant social stature and far more active personality. Still, he’d often reminisce on the times he’d spent with his dog, saddened greatly by the incident that happened, still so many years ago.
“My graduation is of great importance to me and my family as well. You see, I’ve not always been as I portray today. Years ago, I had lost a dear friend of mine, I lost all feeling and my ability to perform at all had diminished to a point that I could not do anything proper. Not long after, I’d discovered my new abilities in arts and so forth—and the knowledge of my inability to perform at elongated times drove me to see a psychiatrist. And, well, without everyone’s help—I wouldn’t be here today. Thank you, Prince Charles Secondary.” Brian gladly, loudly, and clearly stated to a large collection of individuals, mostly assembled as parents and graduating students, siblings sat in the audience as well. A loud, yet silent grin lay on his face, and claps from all around boomed across the halls.
It had been 5 years since his graduation when Brian finally landed a job as a computer technician, his new c o-workers were generally comprised of people full of bore, but some did have a better personality, one to gladly know. Brian knew he’d be here for long—but that was not so, not even a month later, large rifts in the sky opened, and Combine ships poured through, synth troops being deployed everywhere.
His palm skid across the cement walls of his basement, as he stumbled around—looking for canned food, it couldn’t be long until he’d have to eat, but this was no matter to him now. All he wanted to do was keep away, hourly; he’d hear booming noises from outside and screams... they were near. As Brian had reached the back, he heard his basement door fly open, and a synth unit moved inside. All he could do was stand in shock, watching as it drew near.

What lead me to apply for the MPF was, despite my children and wife being killed, I was herded within and kept safe from anti-citizen activity by your pure organization, and feel as if I need to be an assistant in your cause.

When I was little both my parents were both murdered when I was little so that is what inspired me in law enforcement. Past Hl2rp experience?: I've played as all of the roles in Half Life 2 Roleplay, such as a Vortigaunt, a Civil Protection officer, and also a Resistance member. I've learnt from these benefits and merged them together to create a much better roleplaying experience, and for everyone else that I roleplay with, as I don't play-to-win, but I instead play-to-lose, knowing that I can have a chance further in the future ahead of me.
I've also been playing Half Life 2 Roleplay for four years, being a experienced and veteran roleplayer, I've learnt from my mistakes back when I was from the beginning, knowing that I shouldn't abuse the power of my Civil Protection unit and other roles I will be taking further in my improvised future. Having learnt from these skills I can now know that I will be ready for anything I experience during my roleplay as a Civil Protection unit on this server.
What brought you to our server?: What brought me to the server is the appealing name, and I travel to many communities to not only explore, but to play with other players that I want to meet and have fun with. The reason why I want to join the Civil Protection, or more commonly known as the Metro Police Force, is because I am interested in law enforcement, and the way politics run in this program, also, the way the Civil Protection enforce law is to protect us from many enemies. My experience throughout my years of being able to defend myself and knowing from what's right to wrong, I should be able to understand not to consult any infractions in my service as a Civil Protection unit, and to know that anything done by me will be placed as a punishment by myself and to be truthful in many years to come.
I've been trained from the age back to fourteen, my father was a soldier and he was trained for many years, he taught me the ways on how to fight and protect myself, how to shoot pistols, assault rifles, and other devices he's brought home to remind himself of the war, my father was in a engineering division, and also fought throughout the frontlines of his army years. I've graduated from school, then I went from College to University. I've always wanted to join the army, but since the Combine came and have taken over Earth, I can now know that here's my chance to join the Civil Protection.
Being interested into law enforcement, and the way of training they have and it's commandments, I've made my final decision to join the Civil Protection since I've been trained enough to join a Division where it takes strength and experience to endure during my journey up the ladder of ranks and in hope, of not causing any infractions within my service in the Civil Protection team.

I was looking for another server, as I had stopped roleplaying for some time, and stumbled upon this server, having been populated by quite a few people, I began staying.

Why do you want to join the MPF (Just a paragraph or two)?:
The ideology of the police force is that of my liking, as well as the desire to assist the authority in maintaining control of the city. I'd also like to channel my abilities which I've gained through experience toward a greater cause. The majority of my time spent in the city has been spent upon attempting to assist in making the city a better place, which I now believe is a futile goal, without first assisting the police force. This would also be a step up from being a loyalist.
