Here is some general information about the APEX division and what it is we do.
Admittance:
I expect units entering my division to be able to breach effectively, and have basic military tactics training. Also, you must have participated in at least one rations handout and one sweep of a housing block. You must also have demonstrated an aptitude for dealing with citizens effectively. I need to know that amputation is not your solution to every problem. We deal with the civies more than any other group, so this is very important.
Purpose:
We are the first line of defense against uprisings. We are the main pacification group. We patrol the streets, and respond to any threats to society. This often manifests as assisting citizens with problems of import. We are not babysitters. But when a citizen experiences crime, it makes them less apt to cooperate.
First to charge, first to fight, APEX units are often put in dangerous situations and are the first to respond to trouble. However, we also are responsible for the more mundane tasks associated with citizen management. We are the liaisons between the population and the CCA. We handle ration distribution. We also detain anti-citizens more than any other group. If your desire is for action and adventure, then take a look at APEX.
