Short Character Back-Story (A paragraph or two): Jakub regretted moving away with his brother, Because at least he could suffer the combine with the comfort of his family, as he was separated by his brother when they arrived at the city he prays for his safety and the safety of his family. Every time Jakub get the chance he tries to send a letter to his family Though the combine say that they are most likely dead or have been experimented on, Jakub was walking down the street when he saw a group of what seemed horrible creations being leaded by officers "ISOLATE!" one of them shouts to Jakub, Jakub walks off when something catches his eye, one of the creation's staring at him emotionless, Jakub stares back as it tries to mutter something..the trail of thought leads Jakub to believe....."Brother?.."..

Past Hl2rp experience?: Cleared the games multiple times, my RP experience is more down the line of Starship Troopers where by I've been a senior admin on a Gmod SSTRP server for 3 years now.
What brought you to our server?: A friend RPs here, and he's been telling me wonderful stories about what you get up to, so I thought i'd try something new.
Short Character Back-Story (A paragraph or two):
Charles Kilgore, or Charlie to his friends grew up in your typical household. The only child of John and Alexandra Kilgore who lived locally, Charlie spent most of his early years at the local college of technology studying how to take things apart and put them back together leaving no odd screws! He got an apprenticeship after college with a company that made drop ships and fast jets for the military, he spent most his time assembling engines to begin with but later branched out as a quality assurance officer, it was his responsibility to make sure that engines were perfect, and if any didn't work properly he was supposed to diagnose and fix the problem.
After the 7 hour war, everything changed, the combine brought in all there own organic drop ships and air travel became a different affair altogether the factory shut down. Charlie found himself quickly out of work and destitute. Sure he got the odd job here or there repairing generators and lights and TVs for the common folk but nothing was a steady source of work. He hadn't had a big problem with the Combine when they arrived, sure they'd shut down his factory, but thats just business isn't it? He decided he would apply at the local nexus to join the GRID and further use his skills.

Pre-Unification I was an engineer for a local manufacturing company specializing in Engines for the aviation business. I have major experience in maintenance of all kinds of engines and electronics. I feel the Combine can benefit from my experiences and training in this field to help with the GRID functions keeping our great city running. I have always kept my nose clean since unification I have attempted to aid the union by offering my services as a freelance mechanic and electrician but the work has never been steady enough for me.
I have some experiences with Combine technology, my factory didn't shut down straight away after the war, we were asked to help manufacture the Gunship engines so I understand how combine electronics work, or at least the basics. And I am a keen learner so I will pick it up quickly. I am just eager to get myself a job where I can contribute rather than dossing around like one of the aimless proletariat.

One day, when Gordon Freeman was in his families apartment block, one of the bullets that was meant for Gordon, penetrated through the wall. The bullet hit, and killed his mom. Amanda Acrabell was 22 when her mother died in the great food shortage in City 09. Growing up with only her father on her side became difficult as the Combine took over earth, her father lost his job in the coal mines, the rations where low and local raids where almost daily happenings. Amanda grew up to know the hard life, she was used to bad situations and ready to take action if needed. As Amanda grew 26 years old her father died from a heart attack, forcing her to move cities, her only option was moving to City 23. Having grown a liking to the Combines protection she felt as though she fit in inside City 23.

Short Character Back-Story (A paragraph or two):
Simon grew up a rough life of trading junk for food and tokens, one day he made it big gaining 2000 tokens off a peice of junk he accidently found, he grew up off the money and became a merchant. He sold many items to various people for awhile then ended up leaving his city for re-location request to, City-23.
He then started helping the MPF half a year in the city finding criminals and theives. He one day found a rebel group and reported it to the MPF and had them caught in D6, they were executed, he had always admired MPF units around the city for what they did so he decided he wanted to become one. He then started finding high price criminals gaining L.P. Points overtime until he reached 3, he went on gaining 4 then 5, then caught a Rebel, then detained after various reports of his description and his firearm type and his movements, and gained 6 LP.

The citys rough...its hard working and I feel those who steal and kill in it should be exterminated through capturing and re-educating them to the fullest.
It makes me sick to see a poor man on the street and a rich one steal from him. I truely say I will never go corrupt. The MPF stands for courage and honor. They are the lock of this city and we are the key. Thats why I want to join the MPF. Anything else sir?

Past Hl2rp experience?: I've spent plenty of time play on the old catalyst-gaming server as a CWU, Vortigaunt, and MPF before it went down. One of my friends owned a small HL2RP server which I helped with (Forums and applications, along with some in game stuff).
What brought you to our server?: Since HL2RP is back I just decided I would start somewhere new and fresh. I've had experience and would enjoy helping in any way possible.
Short Character Back-Story (A paragraph or two): Charles Patterson was not an only child. He had one sister and two brothers. Charles was small as he grew up, and was the youngest of his family. He would constantly be picked on at school and even at home by his older brothers. He did however like his sister, who would stick up for him and cared for him the most.
Charles grew to be very smart and talented. He got a A-B average all through highschool. And was an amazing track athlete. He no doubt got into college and worked hard through that as well. When Charles turned twenty-four he set off to live his own life. He went to go say bye to his mother and father (Jackie and Lance Patterson) before he went off to where ever he wanted to live.
Charles lived a very happy life. He had a routine everyday and enjoyed his job (Which was a sports manager). Soon Charles's mother, Jackie, got very ill. Charles went down to check on her, and she had passed soon after he arrived. Charles was heartbroken. Charles took care of his father, and helped him get through the death.
Years later the combine had invaded, leaving Charles to never see his father, brothers, or sister again.

While I was being transferred over, I made friends with one of the guys that was being transferred with me. When we arrived in the city, he became a Civil Protection unit after telling me that he found all of their values to be of the highest. I agreed with him but wasn't sure if I wanted to apply at the time. He later died in the line of fire. After grieving over the loss of my dearest friend, I decided that I would apply for the Civil Protection to honor him.
